Back in the day, as an alternative to 8mm film, people would take pictures using Kodachrome slide film. Slide film, or reversal film is a positive as soon as it is processed. So the image is produced as a positive on a transparent base. As such, the slide film produces extremely rich and vibrant colors that come closer to the actual colors and tones present during exposure.
Slide film is intended for the use of projectors. The light is shown underneath the slide and the projector, well projects, it up onto a screen making the little image big. This was fun times for the family to sit around an watch.
Sadly, most projectors no longer work and the slides can no longer be watched. Let us bring them back to life for you as a digital image so you can see them again and share them with family and friends.
